The Free Range Fun Over-Trousers are the perfect way to protect yourselves when working or playing outside, whatever the weather!

The Free Range Fun Over Trousers pattern goes right from XXS – 7XL and this pattern uses our Female/Curve Fit measurement chart. You can choose between trousers or dungarees/salopettes. They can be lined or unlined. Additionally, they can have straight legs, snap legs or elasticated legs (with optional stirrups). There is also the option to add pocket openings allowing you to access the pockets on your clothes underneath.

There is a matching pattern available that uses the Male/Straight Fit Measurement chart. There is also a coordinating child pattern.

Depending on the options chosen the pattern is either beginner or intermediate level. The actual construction is extremely simple, however water resistant/warm fabrics can often be slippy and/or bulky, meaning a little skill is required. An overlocker can be used for many parts but a regular sewing machine can be used for all steps.

Many different fabrics can be used for this pattern but popular choices include softshell, PUL and ripstop.

Take the copy shop file to a professional printer to print onto large sheets of paper.

Use the projector file to project the pattern straight onto your fabric.
